Say Goodbye To Pain In your Joints, Legs, And Lower Back With This Proven Anti-Inflammatory Juice Recipe

Joint pain can stem from many different causes, such as injury affecting the ligaments or tendons, joint inflammation, an infection, and rarely cancer of the joint. Joint pain is often the direct cause of ankle pain, knee pain, and shoulder pain. Common signs and symptoms of joint pain include joint swelling, joint redness, weakness, stiffness, joint tenderness, joint warmth, locking of the joint, limping, and loss of motion of the joint.

It is common for older individuals and especially for people with an inactive lifestyle to feel pain in the knees, legs, back, and ankles. But when the pain is chronic, it causes lots of difficulties, often interfering with  their everyday life and the performance of day-to-day activities. People could experience problems when they are trying to stand, sit, or even lie down. This is why we will present you a smoothie full of nutrients that will help you get a relief for good!

INGREDIENTS:
  • 1 orange
  • 2 cups of pineapple
  • 1 lemon
  • 2 celery stalks
  • 1- inch of fresh ginger root (or 1 tablespoon of ginger powder)
  • 2-inches of fresh turmeric root (or 2 tablespoons of turmeric powder)
  • A quarter teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon of coconut oil
DIRECTIONS:
Peel the orange and lemon as well as ginger and turmeric (if you use them fresh). Chop and core the pineapple. Put the ingredients in a blender and mix them well. Drink the mixture immediately.

It is important to use a blender because you will keep the dietary fiber in the juice. But if you use a juicer, the dietary fiber will be filtered out as waste.

The Benefits of the Ingredients:

Orange: Muscle cramps can cause leg pain. We usually feel cramps because of overuse of muscles, low calcium, and potassium levels. Studies have shown that with the right quantity of vitamin C (oranges are full in vitamin C) in our bodies, we will prevent inflammatory arthritis and maintain healthy joints.

Pineapple: A component in pineapple called bromelain can effectively relieve joint pain and reduce inflammation linked with arthritis.

Lemon: Lemons contain vitamin C and vitamin E. These vitamins protect the cells from free-radical damage and they will help to build and maintain collagen and connective tissues.

Celery: Celery is full of vitamin K. You must know that low levels of this vitamin can cause abnormal cartilage and bone mineralization.

Ginger: A compound in ginger called gingerol has the ability to fight off prostaglandins, inflammatory compounds that cause pain.

Turmeric: In 2009, the Journal of Alternative Complementary Medicine has published a study which shows that curcumin (an active ingredient in turmeric), can relieve pain and improve the functions of the knees osteoarthritis better than medicines such as ibuprofen.

Also, many studies have shown that people who eat a diet rich in vitamin C and dietary fiber have lower amounts of C-reactive protein levels in their bodies. These proteins are inflammation markers and they are associated with diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, diabetes, and heart disease.
